A little bit of Poeish Abstract

Statuaries and birds, especially crows in cemeteries, make for some interesting subjects. I’m a fan of genealogy research as well as a storyteller, and reading tombstones with names and dates, and inscriptions is inspiring and emotional on so many levels.

Photography, for me, is also a very creative endeavor as I play first with exposures on manual settings for different effects. And then also in the procressing. I’ve always liked a more surrealistic, somewhat abstract image, depending on the subject matter.

Photography has alway been my passion. From the large, expansive landscapes, to the small minute images that make up our world. Having traveled from East Coast to West Coast, capturing moments sparked by the world around me, and inspiring my creative curiosity. Adventure, discovery, awareness.

I photograph, I write, I journal, I combine and I manipulate.  Textures, objects, plants, animals, sunshine, rain, all of these interpreted through my eyes, with the help of a camera lens.
